ANNE BUFORD, DIRECTOR
Anne Buford, a born-and-bred Kansan living in New York City, developed, directed and produced ELEVATE, the award-winning, feature-length documentary film. In 2005, after an extensive career in magazines, sports, fashion, website development, and politics, Buford, believing in the transformational effect of film, founded her production company Sharp 7 and began shooting her debut film ELEVATE.

ESPN Films has acquired ELEVATE and will air the film in 2012.

MARK BECKER, PRODUCER
Mark Becker produced, directed and edited the documentary ROMANTICO (2005), which was nominated for the Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival and received two Independent Spirit Award nominations, including Best Documentary. ROMANTICO was released theatrically by Kino International. Becker directed and edited the film PRESSURE COOKER (2008) for Participant Media. The film was nominated for an Emmy for Nonfiction Filmmaking in 2010 and won awards at seven film festivals before opening theatrically in May 2009. Becker edited the recently completed documentary CIRCO, which will have a theatrical release this spring. He was also the co-editor of the acclaimed LOST BOYS OF SUDAN, winner of an Independent Spirit Award. Becker earned a Masters Degree from the Documentary Film Program at Stanford University.

CHIEMI KARASAWA, PRODUCER
Ms. Karasawa is an award-winning Producer who founded Isotope Films in 2005 to make independent films based on true stories. She produced BILLY THE KID with Jennifer Venditti in 2007, Co-Produced Ellen Kuras' Emmy Award Winning / Oscar Nominated film, THE BETRAYAL in 2008, and Spike Jonze and Lance Bangs' TELL THEM ANYTHING YOU WANT; A PORTRAIT OF MAURICE SENDAK, and Bangs' THE LAZARUS EFFECT for HBO in 2009. She recently completed LOVE ETC, which premiered at IDFA, and will be released theatrically in Spring 2011. Isotope Films is currently at work on ARETHA FRANKLIN: AMAZING GRACE. Karasawa is a Boston University College of Communications graduate with a degree in Film & Broadcasting.
VICTORIA YOFFIE, PRODUCER
Victoria Yoffie, filmmaker, director, and media production entrepreneur studied filmmaking at New York University's prestigious graduate film program. She received a master of arts in interactive technology and performance from New York University and a bachelor of arts in art history from Cornell University. Victoria has worked as unit production manager, producer, and director on several award-winning short and feature films and has produced and directed work in many formats, including short and feature films, branded entertainment, television, commercials, and documentaries.

JESSE RUUTTILA, CO-PRODUCER / ASSOCIATE EDITOR
Jesse Ruuttila is a New York based filmmaker, writer and actor. He has worked for four years as the Co-Producer and Associate Editor of Elevate. Ruuttila has also worked in various post-production capacities on multiple documentaries, including the film Helvetica. Ruuttila is also the director and co-writer of the web series John and Molly Get Along.
RICHARD HANKIN, A.C.E. / SUPERVISING EDITOR
Richard Hankin has worked on documentaries for both theatrical distribution and for HBO, PBS, NBC, ABC, and Showtime. HOME FRONT, which Hankin directed, produced, wrote and edited, premiered at the 2006 Tribeca Film Festival, and on the Showtime Network on Veterans Day. CAPTURING THE FRIEDMANS, which Hankin co-produced and edited, was mentioned on over 150 "Top Ten" lists and won numerous awards, including the Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival, and an Emmy for Hankin's editing. The film was nominated for both an Academy Award and an American Cinema Editor's Award, and was recently honored by the International Documentary Association as one of the best documentaries of all time. He holds degrees from the University of California, Berkeley and Columbia University.
CHRIS WHITE, EDITOR
Chris White served as Editor and Co-Director with Macky Alston on THE KILLER WITIHIN for Discovery Films, which premiered at the 2006 Toronto Film Festival and was a nominee for 2008 Best Documentary Emmy. HARD ROAD HOME, another Alston collaboration was nominated for an Emmy in 2009. CRITICAL CONDITION, for filmmaker Roger Weisberg, premiered in 2008 on POV. White's other films have premiered at Sundance and aired on HBO/Cinemax.
